Delivery Costs

At Portal Outdoor we have no hidden charges and believe that all costs should be immediately apparent to our customers. Below is a clear outline of our delivery charges.

Delivery Options

We only deliver on working days (This excludes: Saturdays, Sundays & Bank holidays). At checkout you will be provided with the option to upgrade your shipping. The options available are as below.

Shipping Information

We endeavour to dispatch all orders from our UK Warehouse within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). Orders placed before 12pm (UK Time) on a weekday will be dispatched on the same day. 


Free standard UK shipping is available for orders totaling over £50.00 after any discounts have been applied.

 

UK Shipping Options

Standard Delivery is through a trusted UK delivery partner, usually Royal Mail or DPD, and can take 3-5 working days to arrive. This service is free for orders over £50.00, or £4.95 for orders that do not meet this threshold. 
Premium Delivery is offered through DPD, and offers a next working day delivery for orders placed before 12pm. This service is chargeable at £7.95.

EU Shipping Options

Currently we offer shipping into Europe via DPD Road, which usually takes 3-5 working days for delivery. The cost of this service is fixed at £14.95.

 

Rest of World

Delivery is available to Countries outside of the UK and EU - please contact us for a quotation before placing your order.

 

Please note:

For customers requiring delivery to Switzerland and Norway due to new Law that requires customers ordering from these countries to provide a tax ID number for international transit before dispatch. Please email proof of this ID and your order reference number to portaloutdoor@i-fulfilment.co.uk once you've placed your order. Your order will not leave unless we have this information.

 

How we deliver 

Deliveries are generally through DPD or DHL. Upgraded shipping will be made by the courier that best reflects the deliver speed required - you will be informed of the courier and tracking number in your confirmation email once your order is placed.

Where is my order? 

Please check your order tracking number provided on your ‘Your order is on its way’ email to track the location of your order. If it says delivered but you still haven’t received it please double check your safe location & also check with your neighbours to see if they’ve collected it on your behalf.

If you still haven’t received your item, we would ask that you allow an extra 48 hours for standard deliveries before contacting us to allow for local delays. We are aware that our standard delivery service with couriers may be affected in some areas of the country due to high orders.

We are continuing with our shipments as per normal and will continue to monitor the COVID-19 guidelines as set out by the Government. But please note that whilst we dispatch on time, our third-party couriers may be slightly delayed in transit during peak periods of high volume.


How can I track my order?

You can track your order on your ‘Your order is on its way’ email which will have your tracking details on it.


I've ordered more than one item. Where is the rest of my order?

If you've ordered a large number of items, your order is likely to be sent in more than one parcel.

Sometimes these parcels can be delivered at different times if they are sorted separately by the delivery courier. Most separated orders will be delivered within 24 hours of each other, but please allow a little longer over a busy period.

If an item appears on the delivery note in your parcel, but isn't with you, or an incorrect item or size has been received, please contact our customer service team.

The tracking shows my order as being delivered, but I haven't received it?

We’re sorry to hear that you haven’t received your order. So, we can look into this for you please make sure you've done the following:

  • Check with others in your household or your immediate neighbours, as they may have accepted this on your behalf if you were not in at the time of delivery.
  • Take a look around your property in any sheds, outbuildings or safe places where the postman or courier may have left your parcel for you.

 

If you still haven’t received it your item, we would ask that you allow an extra 48 hours for standard delivery before contacting us to allow for local delays. If you still haven’t received it after this period of time please contact us as soon as possible.
